CVTEC Spring Run 2013

Last Sunday marked the day that 44 vintage tractors (some with trailers) would be driving round the Cheshire countryside in a long line, one after another. Obviously another perfect opportunity for me to head out with the camera and get some snaps.

Arrival and checking in.

Quick check of the tractors before set off.

En route, through sheep fields.

A bit of off roading... very bumpy.

You can see how bumpy from the shakiness of this shot, as we were thrown around.

Signal duty.

It was an excellent run as we covered approximately 45 miles of the Cheshire countryside, a long day at about 17mph. But all the lovely scenery and fun bouncing around made up for it.

Curtains

Recently I have had a lot going on, multiple shoots for all different people in all different places and I'm only just catching up with myself.

When getting ready for one of my shoots last week I accidentally hit the shutter as I was packing my camera equipment and came out with ... well this.

Very warm feeling from this photo, with a fair amount of contrast.

This might be the artsy fartsy side of me coming out now, but there is something about this photo that I really like. It's grabbed me somehow.

Portraits

Last weekend I carried a ridiculous amount of equipment up to Cheshire on the train to go and shoot some portraits. Shot with a Hasselblad I have since scanned in the negs and got the images ready to be shown to you all.

I'm really pleased with these photos and really enjoyed the afternoon photographing - not to mention the yummy soup we got for dinner too!

Now I got a brand new combine harvester and I'll give you the key...
